Every Haven formulation is thoughtfully tailored to support balanced, age appropriate nutrition as little ones grow - built on a complete nutritional profile that includes DHA and ARA for brain development, GOS and FOS prebiotics, and probiotics for gut health.
Stage 1 carries that complete profile from birth through your baby's early months, gentle enough for a newborn's digestion.
Stage 2 continues that same complete nutrition through the rest of your baby's first year, as first foods are introduced and routines start to change.
Stage 3 moves to everyday toddler nutrition - a simpler formulation designed to complement a growing variety of solid foods (fussy days included!) and busy little routines, rather than be a toddler's sole source of nutrition.
Whole milk
Whole milk naturally contains milk fats, including milk fat globule membrane (MFGM), a complex structure found within milk fat.
By starting with whole milk rather than skim milk, Haven formulations are designed to create a smooth, creamy taste with less reliance on added oils.
DHA & ARA
DHA (Omega-3) and ARA (Omega-6) are long-chain fatty acids that play important roles in early brain and eye development during infancy.
These nutrients are commonly included in infant formula to support balanced nutrition during key stages of growth and development. The DHA used in Haven formulations is sourced from algae, while ARA is sourced from fungi.
Gentle oil blend
Carefully selected oils are included in infant formula to provide essential fatty acids that support growth and development during infancy.
Our whole milk base means we have less reliance on added oils to meet these fatty acid requirements, but we do use a thoughtfully selected oil blend including low erucic acid canola oil, sunflower oil, high oleic sunflower oil and coconut oil to help create a balanced fat profile.
Probiotics
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that help support digestive and immune health.
Haven formulations include the probiotic strain Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus HN001, a well-researched strain selected to support gut microbiome development during infancy.
Prebiotics
GOS and FOS are prebiotics that help support the development of a healthy gut microbiome.
Prebiotics act as a food source for beneficial gut bacteria and are commonly included in infant formula to support digestive health and overall wellbeing.
Lutein
Lutein is a naturally occurring carotenoid found in breast milk and commonly associated with eye health and visual development during infancy.
Haven formulations include lutein sourced from marigolds.
16 essential vitamins & minerals
Haven formulations contain 16 essential vitamins and minerals carefully balanced to support normal growth, development and everyday wellbeing.
This includes nutrients such as iron to support cognitive development, calcium for growing bones and teeth, and vitamin C to support immune function and iron absorption.
